The Environmental Management course provides students with the knowledge to manage the environment and use the Environmental Impact Assessment (EIA) method in planning activities, projects, or actions for sustainable development. This can be done by proposing standard management, procedures, guidelines and problem-solving in government policies. Waste minimization tools will also be emphasized in the environmental management system. EIA methodologies that are frequently used in assessments, together with the EIA requirement will be discussed and compared.

These courses provide student with the knowledge the phenomena of air and noise pollution and its effect on the environment and human health. The course covers the atmospheric chemistry of air pollutants, the sources of air pollutant, the legislative framework for air pollution control, and air pollution control strategies. For noise pollution, this course will cover sources, measurement, effect and mitigation of noise pollution to humans. General issues and problems related to air and noise pollution will also be applied.

This course aims to provide students with the knowledge and skills to solve problems of subsurface waste containment, groundwater contamination and site remediation as its major focus. This course includes components of types, properties, soil drainage system, transport mechanism of contaminants in soils, remediation for contaminated lands and the risk assessment and site monitoring. The students will be learned basic geochemistry and site investigation methods o overcome geo environmental problem

ENVIRONMENTAL PUBLIC HEALTH AND SANITATION course provides a foundation in the basic principles of environmental public health and sanitation. This course will focus on water, wastewater, sanitation, epidemiology, disease and microbiology. Procedures of disposal of wastewater management and excreta would be given a detailed discussion. Furthermore, student will be exposed to the agents of environmental disease, types of environmental disease and also focuses on the effective ways in management of water, sewage and sludge that ensure better public health and reduces the outbreak of diseases.
